Buffalo Chik'n Bake
Yields: 4 Serving Per serving: 1 lean 2 condiments 2 healthy fats
Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- 15 oz Gardein Chik'n Strips (The same amount applies if using Morningstar Farms strips)
- 1/2 cup Frank's Buffalo Wing sauce
- 1/2 cup Hidden Valley Lite Ranch dressing
- 4 Tbsp light cream cheese
- 2 wedges of Laughing Cow White Cheddar cheese
- 2 slices of Kraft 2% American cheese
- 4.8 oz reduced-fat cheddar, shredded
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large pan, spray some oil and saute the chik’n strips on medium heat until cooked through about 8 minutes. Leave in pan and set aside.
- Prepare buffalo cheese sauce:
- In a saucepan, heat buffalo wing sauce and ranch dressing on medium-low heat.
- Add cream cheese and mix well until melted.
- Remove from heat and add Laughing Cow wedges and Kraft slices.
- Stir until cheese has melted.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the chik'n strips and combine well.
- Pour everything into a 9 x 9 casserole dish and sprinkle top with reduced-fat cheddar.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
This recipe is for lean portions ONLY! We like to pair it with 1 serving of roasted cauliflower and 1/2 serving of chopped raw celery, per serving.
